New Year's Resolutions
Each year, with the arrival of the New Year, many people make resolutions of what they want to accomplish, do better or "fix" during the coming year. I have made these resolutions in the past and have been reasonably successful. I take the stairs in the Sakowich Campus Center rather than the elevator, I rarely drink soda anymore and I go months at a time without going to McDonald's (I just can't give it up completely!) So what will this year bring? I have thought of a few resolutions for myself but I want to make the changes and see if people notice. However, a big step for me will be utilizing this space more. I hope to connect with students, both current and prospective, through this space. With that being said, I ask for you to make a resolution...ask me questions. Anything at all, regarding the college, and I will answer them both to you and to the rest of the community on an ongoing basis. Don't worry I won't use your whole name, just a first name and a major or home town. Best questions each two week period will get a special prize...maybe lunch with the "best question winners", maybe something from the bookstore, maybe something even better. So e-mail me at dos@merrimack.edu and ask about whatever you want to know. There's the challenge for you, make me write more often and I will resolve to do so!
