MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Welcome to Merrimack College!

This is a very exciting time at Merrimack, and I am both honored and privileged to serve as president of this institution. I have found myself very much inspired by the enthusiasm and energy of the students, faculty, and staff here and hope that you’ll feel the same.

As a Catholic college founded by the Order of St. Augustine, Merrimack is a caring and passionate community committed to the pursuit of life-long learning. Our dedication to the Augustinian values of hospitality, community, and the pursuit of truth will provide direction as you explore the world and gain the experiences you need to succeed professionally and become a contributing citizen of the world.

Merrimack’s curriculum continues to grow stronger and more in-depth as we embrace a four course, four credit curriculum which delves further into course topics than ever before. New programs such as biotechnology and information technology, and hands-on coursework and close personal attention prepare our students for rapidly growing job markets.

Most importantly, you’ll feel at home on our campus. It’s easy to get involved in co-curricular programs and events, perform community service, and make life long friends – all of which are valuable pieces of a whole person. In addition to developing academically, you’ll evolve ethically, morally, and socially as well.

Individuals leave Merrimack as responsible leaders who know what they want out of life, and are prepared to make a difference in an even more interdependent world. I am personally proud to have a hand in that wonderful transformation.
