Merrimack College’s Information Technology Services provides solutions that support a wide range of computer-related activities and infrastructure for education, research and the day-to-day functions within the college community.
We are committed to the stewardship of the college’s information technology resources and to fostering an environment in which integrity, communication, collaboration and support are paramount in everything we do. Our goal is to provide the highest-quality services in the most cost-effective manner.
We measure our performance through feedback from the Merrimack College community and invite our customers to tell us how we can better meet their needs. We encourage our staff to listen, address concerns and communicate regularly with those we serve.
Information Technology Services houses the primary student computer lab, walk-in User Services Center, Help Desk, MACK Card Office and Telecommunications. Students requiring assistance with general use of the technology available on campus can utilize these services. Students participating in the college’s laptop program receive a full range of services at the walk-in center as well.
ITS also serves as the hub for the high-speed fiber connections for the campus network and for a high-speed external internet connection. ITS also supports technology enabled classrooms across the campus, discipline-specific computer labs, faculty and staff desktop machines and the campuswide network security.
