Spiritual Development and Pastoral Care
Campus Ministry gathers with members of the Merrimack College community to celebrate various sacraments.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)
A special invitation is extended to those who are interested in becoming Catholic or completing their Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation). The RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process of preparation utilized at Merrimack College. Others on campus who desire to deepen their faith commitment as Catholics are also welcomed to the RCIA sessions.
In 2015, nine (9) Merrimack students took part in the Sacramental Preparation process, which was conducted through weekly meetings. Some were Baptized, received First Communion and Confirmation.
These students were: Heather MacArthur, Collin McQuade, Bailey Delaney, Hannah Lee, Kristen Vaughn, Cassandra Long, Sue Ung, Erin Kaminski, and Brianna Burk.
Please take a few minutes to hear what their process experience was this year:
