Sacramental Prep / RCIA 2015

Spiritual Development and Pastoral Care

Sacramental Preparation

Campus Ministry gathers with members of the Merrimack College community to celebrate various sacraments.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)

A special invitation is extended to those who are interested in becoming Catholic or completing their Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation).  The RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process of preparation utilized at Merrimack College.  Others on campus who desire to deepen their faith commitment as Catholics are also welcomed to the RCIA sessions.

In 2017, twelve (12) Merrimack students took part in the Sacramental Preparation process, which was conducted through weekly sessions.  They all received the Sacrament of Confirmation in The Collegiate Church of Christ the Teacher.

These students were:  Patricia Busa, Demitria Perrin, Kenney Tran, Jullian Battista, Maura Doyle, Timothy Hare, McGee Hines, Christina Jackson, Madelyn Kerber, Desire Metayer-Smith, Brielle O’Brien and Isabelle Palmer.

Please take a few minutes to hear what their process experience was this year:
