Originally from Springfield, MA, Erin attended the University of New Hampshire where she earned her BA in psychology and sociology. She then earned a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where she was a graduate assistant in the Department of Athletics. This was her first opportunity to work with college students, and she has never looked back. After many years in collegiate athletics, she wanted to elevate her work with students in a more connective, therapeutic capacity. In 2009, Erin received her Master of Social Work from Salem State College, which she earned with the intent to work in a college counseling center. She worked at Clark University in Worcester prior to coming to Merrimack in April 2013. Clinical interests include anxiety, body image, eating issues, adjustment and life transitions, self-esteem, and sport psychology.
