Academic Program Manager
Position Overview: The School of Health Sciences at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts invites applications for an Academic Program Manager.
We are seeking an outstanding manager to join our rapidly expanding School that includes new programs, expanded facilities, state-of-art equipment, funded research initiatives, community partnerships, and more. The Academic Program Manager assists the Associate Dean and senior administrative team in the organization and management of the academic functions of the undergraduate and graduate programs in the School of Health Sciences. On a daily basis, the Academic Program Manager supports all administrative aspects of numerous degree programs in Health Sciences, and works with the School’s faculty to execute academic policies and regulations. Particular operational focus includes organization of academic classes and scheduling; execution of adjunct faculty contracts; and management of the Department’s online and printed marketing materials. In addition, the Academic Program Manager has responsibility for the administration and integrity of the faculty advising and course evaluation systems.
Qualifications: Each successful candidate will minimally have a Masters’ degree. Candidates must also have excellent organizational management skills, knowledge and understanding of academic program administration, knowledge and understanding of the field of health sciences, and exceptional leadership, and time management skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have proficiency in computer technology such as Microsoft Office and Gmail. Must have 3-5 years of related professional experience.
