Adjunct Instructor(s), Health Sciences

Position Overview:  

Introduction to Clinical Pathology & Medical Interventions:
The School of Health Sciences invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach Introduction to Clinical Pathology & Medical Interventions to students in the Master of Science in Athletic Training program. The ideal candidate will be a Health Care Practitioner (Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) with at least two-year’s experience teaching at the college/university level. The instructor should have the knowledge and skills to engage students in basic clinical science concepts of general medicine to assist students to formulate appropriate assessments, treatment strategies and medical referrals in relation to athletic training and patient care.

The Spring Semester 2018 will run January 22 through May 11.

Health Science Organizational Leadership:
The School of Health Sciences invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach Health Science Organizational Leadership to students in three Master of Science in Health Science programs. The ideal candidate will be in a leadership role in Health Care with at least two-year’s experience teaching at the college/university level. The instructor should have the knowledge and skills to engage students in basic applied concepts of the business skills needed to be in a variety of health-related management roles. 

The course is offered on Tuesday night from 6:00-9:50pm. The Spring Semester 2018 will run January 22 through May 11.
