Assistant Professor of 19th-Century American Literature and Film
Position Overview: A tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in 19th-century American literature and film studies (including film history, theory, and criticism). We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in 19th-century American literature, along with college-level teaching experience and evidence of scholarly achievement. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of specialized and survey courses in American literature and film, as well as first-year composition. Teaching load is three courses per semester.
