Assistant Professor of Organizational Communication
Position Overview: The Department of Communication and Media at Merrimack College invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor specializing in Organizational, Health, Family and/or Interpersonal Communication beginning fall 2017. A Ph.D. in-hand in Communication is preferred but ABD candidates completing by July 1 will also be considered.
The successful candidate should demonstrate experience and/or the ability to teach topics such as organizational change, collaboration, nonprofits, resilience, health literacy, health campaigns, social media and health, stress and coping, and family communication. While being asked to contribute to the Communication core curriculum, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop courses in her/his area of expertise that look to balance communication theory with real world application. Merrimack College has a 3/3 course load for tenure track faculty.
