Assistant/Associate Professor, Data Science & Analytics
Position Overview: Merrimack College’s School of Science and Engineering and the Girard School of Business invite applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics to begin in the Fall of 2017. The position will be within the Data Science & Analytics Graduate Program (DS&A), which serves online graduate students. The faculty member hired in this position will primarily have teaching responsibilities for courses across the DS&A program, but may also teach on campus undergraduate statistics courses. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have: A doctorate in Statistics, Quantitative Business Analysis, Data Science, or a related discipline; two or more years of industry experience in the area of data science and/or business analytics; college-level teaching experience; and familiarity with distance education and online teaching. Doctoral candidates, who will complete a doctoral degree in 2017 or 2018 will be considered.
