Adjunct Lecturers (Girard School of Business) (Graduate)


The Girard School of Business offers small class sizes and professors foster engagement and close personal interaction — yet we also provide unique experiential learning opportunities to give students valuable real world experience.  Overall, the in-class experience emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, discussions, and provides many opportunities for students to make presentations.

Position Overview:  The Girard School of Business seeks qualified adjunct professors in the following areas:

Graduate Courses

Statistical Analysis (2-credit):  This is a required course in the MSMgt graduate program. This course is taught in either the first half or second half of a fifteen week semester and meets for a two-hour block twice a week. This course covers descriptive statistics, hypotheses testing, regression analysis, and business applications.

Operations & Supply Chain Management (2-credit):  This is a required course in the MSMgt graduate program. This course is taught in either the first half or second half of a fifteen week semester and meets for a two-hour block twice a week. This course covers process design and analysis, six-sigma quality, lean supply chain, operations planning, global sourcing and procurement, and logistics.

Qualifications:  Master’s degree in business or related area, Ph.D. preferred. College teaching experience preferred.
