Computer Science/Information Technology Adjunct

The Computer Science Department invites applications for several adjunct positions beginning in 2014 – 2015 school year. A Ph.D. in either Computer Science or Information Technology is desired; however candidates with an MS in Computer Science or Information Technology will also be considered. Applicants should send 1) an application letter, 2) curriculum vita, 3) copies of graduate transcripts, 4) statement of teaching philosophy, 5) either three letters of recommendation or names and contact information of references, and 6) optionally any evidence of excellence in teaching (such as past teaching evaluations) to Vance Poteat vance.poteat@merrimack.edu or to: Search Committee, Department of Computer Science, Merrimack College, 315 Turnpike Street, No. Andover, MA 01845. Teaching responsibilities include: The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses within their area of expertise. They will also teach a diverse population of students including traditional day students, continuing education students, and adult learners. The successful candidate will be available to teach days/ evenings.
