  • Associate Professor of Management Jane Parent is serving as Faculty Fellow at the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, where she will offer workshops and coaching to her fellow faculty members.
  • Student mentors are available to help in the classroom using a variable of mobile apps including iMovie, Notability, and Explain Everything.

    Faculty and staff recently packed the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning for simple but informative refreshers on how to identify, support and help those suffering through mental illnesses.
  • This year’s A PLUS Conference focused on creating actionable programmatic initiatives designed to transform Merrimack College’s students of today into the leaders of the future.  The conference began with a presentation by Dr. Michael Stroud, a CETL Fellow and Professor of Psychology, on how the students of today interact with technology in their everyday lives.  
  • In support of its growing initiatives to enhance and promote teaching and learning, Merrimack College is pleased to announce it has received a $200,000 grant from the Davis Educational Foundation, a leader in higher education philanthropy across New England.  The multi-year funding will help launch the College’s new Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), which seeks to engage faculty and the academic community in developing and implementing creative, effective, and innovative strategies that enhance student learning and support academic success.
