Zi Yan, Ph.D., M.P.H.
Assistant Professor of Health Sciences, received her Ph.D. in Exercise and Sport Sciences and a concurrent degree of M.P.H in Health Behavior and Health Promotion from Oregon State University in 2012. She received her M.Ed. in Developmental Kinesiology from Bowling Green State University in 2008. She also obtained the Bachelor degree in Psychology from Beijing Normal University in China in 2006. The courses she teaches include Introduction to Public Health, Introduction to Epidemiology, Global Health, and Health Promotion. Her research interests include health and physical activity promotion, psycho-social and socio-cultural aspects of health and physical activity.
