Due Date

Housing deposits are due Tuesday, March 19, 2024. You will need to pay a housing deposit to be able to participate in housing selection.

For any questions, please email the Office of Residence Life at reslife@merrimack.edu.

Group Selection

Once returning undergraduate students have paid their housing deposit, they will be able to access the roommate selection portion of the process within 1-2 business days.  To create a group students should follow these steps

  1. Log into your MyHousing Portal
  2. In the menu click on “Roommate Selection”
  3. Click “select roommates”
  4. Where it says “for the term”, change the date to Fall 2024
  5. Scroll down to “Pending roommate Requests”, if you have any, click the 3 buttons next to their name and either accept or decline
  6. If you need to match with more members of your group click “search for roommate”, and search for the first person you are looking to live with (direct roommate) by entering their information, and clicking “begin search”
  7. “Search Results” will appear below and you will click to request a roommate. That roommate will then receive a pending request.
  8. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for all people you are requesting to live with.

Once everyone has requested or accepted a request from each member of the group, they will be considered “fully matched”. If not everyone matches with each other the group will not be considered fully matched, and each individual will go through the process as a group of one. Residence Life will reach out to you if this is not completed.

Due Date

Group selection is due Thursday, March 21, 2024. You will need to pay a housing deposit to be able to create a group.

Housing Interest Form

The form will be open from Tuesday, March 26, 2024 until Tuesday,  April 16, 2024. Each member of your group should be completing the form, and the date of submission has no impact on your housing assignment. Therefore, the Office of Residence Life encourages you to take your time, discuss your housing plans with your peers to ensure that your forms look identical.

To access the form please follow the steps below.

  1. Log into  MyHousing Portal
  2. Click on the menu at the top left
  3. Click on Forms to complete
  4. Click on Housing Interest Form
  5. Rank each building that appears once, if you rank the same building multiples your form will be reset, and you will be asked to do it again.

*class years will be appropriately adjusted for transfer students

Groups that are exclusively rising seniors (entering ‘20- ‘21)* can rank the following:
