New students

Hello newest Warriors! The Office of Residence Life is thrilled to welcome you to the Merrimack community, and has prepared some important information about living on campus. Housing Deposits

In order to secure a space in on-campus housing, submit a $700.00 enrollment deposit by Monday, May 1, 2017. See the Admission website or contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission for deposit instructions. The Office of Residence Life will continue to house students whose deposits are received after May 1, 2017 as spaces become available.

Move-in Information

New international students will arrive on August 28, 2017 and new domestic students will arrive on September 1, 2017! International Students should first visit ISS. Merrimack has a tradition of welcoming first-year students with a move-in crew to help unload vehicles and deliver belongings to rooms. To ensure that you will have assistance moving in, we have set up separate arrival times on September 1 for each residence hall listed below.

Deegan East and West 7:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Ash Centre 10:45 AM - 12:30 PM
Monican Centr‚Äče 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

To ensure your move-in crew delivers your possessions to the correct place, please make sure that you have clearly labeled each item with your name, building, and room number using these new student luggage tags.

If you are are arriving outside of these hours, please contact the Merrimack College Police Department at 978-837-5555 to get in contact with the Residence Life professional staff member on call.

New students will proceed from move-in either International Student Orientation or September Orientation. For information about New Student Orientations, click here.

Medical Housing Accommodations

New students are able to request housing accommodations based on diagnosed medical need. Requests for non-academic accommodations and accompanying documentation is due to the Accessibility Services Office on June 1, 2017. Requests received after this date will be reviewed, however please note that space is limited.
