The Writing Center
The Merrimack College Writing Center assists writers at all levels of ability and promotes writing as a way of enhancing teaching and learning throughout the college. In the Augustinian spirit of concern for the intellectual development of the individual, the Writing Center’s primary goal is to enable writers to develop their abilities through individualized conferencing with knowledgeable peers and professionals who are themselves writers.
What can the Writing Center do for you?

- organizing writing projects
- solving specific writing problems, from getting started to editing/proofreading
- developing effective revision strategies
- learning to use critical reading as a means to perceptive writing
- developing research abilities
- creating your individual writing style
- managing group writing projects

- developing skills in written English, if English is not your first language.
