Faculty Profile

S. Bruce Han is a professor and chair of the Department of Management in the Girard School of Business and International Commerce at Merrimack College. He received his B.S. and M. Eng. from Cornell University, an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. He has had several years of extensive industrial experience with Eastman Kodak Company and TRW, Inc. Dr. Han has published in the International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, the International Journal of Productivity & Quality Management and the Journal of Business and Economic Studies. He is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), the Academy of Business Education, the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS). Dr. Han’s current research interests are in the areas of supply chain, quality and operations management.
