Recent Research and Professional Experience

Olsen has enjoyed a successful career in corporate marketing communications management and training for over 15 years prior to her work in higher education. Her experience includes work for large organizations as well as start-up firms in direct hire and consulting roles across industries. Olsen has also assisted non-profits with pro-bono professional services to support their missions in the community.

Her strengths include research, writing, strategic planning, interpersonal skills and use of technology including graphic design, internet marketing and commercial printing. She is a skilled organizational development specialist and instructor adept at assessing needs, designing robust curricula, creating materials and presenting with an engaging, learner-centered style.
