Atlee Cahill

My name is Atlee Cahill.  I am a member of the graduating class of 2010 with a major in Business Management and a minor in Economics.  I have lived on campus for all three years that I have attended Merrimack and have met some wonderful people, both students and faculty, who have positively influenced my life. The professors at Merrimack College approach teaching with knowledge rooted from their experiences in the world of business.  I enjoy courses that introduce me to the operations of real world companies while also teaching the skills that I will need to one day succeed in a business of my own.  

The Girard School of Business supports the idea of integrated learning through group work that brings out the creative ideas of each member.  Group work also enables students to build strong relationships with fellow classmates who share similar interests.  Merrimack College also maintains average class sizes of 25 students that help to personalize each student’s in-class experience.  

I am also a student-athlete at Merrimack.  I have participated in Women’s Softball for the past three years.  Being a member of the softball team has taught me valuable lessons about time management, teamwork and dedication that I will bring with me when I begin my career following graduation.
