Taesoo Ahn is an Assistant Professor of Sport Management. He received his Ph.D. in Sport Management from Florida State University. His research areas are related to marketing and communication in sports.  He is particularly interested in marketing strategies of sport websites including consumer behavior, web organization, and perceived interactivity. He has given numerous presentations in sport marketing and management for organizations such as the Sport Marketing Association (SMA) and North American Society of Sport Management (NASSM).

Before coming to Merrimack College, Dr. Ahn was a faculty member at Mount Ida College. He taught various courses including Introduction to Sport Management, Sport Marketing, Sport Communication, Sport Practicum, Special Topics in Sport, and Marketing Research Analysis. He was also a member of a new sport management development committee at Mount Ida College. There, he developed a new sport management curriculum based on guidelines from the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA). In addition, he worked as an intern for the Southern Ohio Copperheads Baseball Team, a sponsor and sales staff member of the Friday Night Boxing Event at Ohio University, and an operations staff member of Ohio University’s Football Team.
