For undergraduates: It is strongly encouraged that the Communication and Literacy test is taken and passed by the end of the sophmore year and the Foundations of Reading MTEL (if applicable) taken concurrently with enrollment in EDU 3310. Additionally, all students should have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA prior to entry into the student-teaching semester.
For all students (undergraduate and graduate): All MTEL tests (including the General Curriculum & subject matter tests) should be passed prior to entry into the student-teaching semester.
