About the Fellowship Program

The Education Fellowship is a highly competitive full-tuition fellowship that links graduate study with a year-long clinical residency in a partner school. Students take graduate courses in the summers and evenings through the school year while serving as full-time professionals in varied capacities in their classrooms. All Fellows have experienced and highly effective teacher-mentors, college supervisors, and education advisors to support their learning and strengthen their impact on students’ success. Fellows graduate in a year with a master of education degree and licensure in their area of specialization. The Education Fellowship is open to all academic majors and backgrounds. While previous education coursework and experience are helpful, it is not required.

Program Sequence

Education Fellows take summer courses as well as gain in-depth preparation for their year-long clinical residency. The residency allows Fellows to engage in a range of classroom-based activities such as small group instruction, co-teaching, and, ultimately, independent classroom instruction. Fellows complete their coursework and residency with a portfolio project in the second summer.
