  • 6:00pm - 9:30pm: MTEL Prep Workshop - Middle and High School English/History

    MTEL Preparation Workshops at Merrimack College

    Undergraduate and graduate students preparing to take the Middle (5-8) or High School (8-12) English or History MTEL are welcome to register for this preparation workshop at Merrimack College. This MTEL Prep Workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, from 6:00PM to 9:30PM on the campus of Merrimack College. You must pre-register through this online form to attend the workshop.

    English and History for Middle (5-8) and High (8-12) School

    Date:  Wednesday, October 8, 2014
    Times: 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
    Location:  O’Reilly Hall, Room 310, Merrimack College

    The workshop will provide students with the following:

    • An overview of the Subject Matter Knowledge Standards as determined by the state (MA DESE), the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, and MTEL test-question objectives, highlighting their connection between what you know and what you will teach.
    • The development of a personalized study plan and the opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity.
    • Paper copies of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks (English or History) as a study and teaching resource.

    Please read the following prior to registering:

    • Registration is required to attend the workshop.
    • Registration is only accepted prior to the workshop and online through this form.
    • There is a fee to attend this workshop:



      • $25 for Merrimack students
      • $50 for non-Merrimack students

    MTEL Preparation Workshops at Merrimack College

    Undergraduate and graduate students preparing to take the Foundations of Reading are welcome to register for this preparation workshop at Merrimack College. This MTEL Prep Workshop meets on Saturday, October 25, 2014, from 8:30AM to 4:30PM, on the campus of Merrimack College. This is a one-time, all day event for which you must be pre-registered.

  • 11:00am: MTEL Prep Workshop: General Curriculum, Math Subtest - Two Meetings

    Two meetings: Saturday, October 25, and Saturday, November 8, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

    Any undergraduate or graduate student preparing to take the General Curriculum - Math MTEL is welcome to register for this preparation workshop at Merrimack College. This MTEL Prep Workshop has two sessions: Saturday, October 25, and Saturday, November 8, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on the campus of Merrimack College.
