Welcome! The Graduate Institute for Teachers offers a wide array of innovative, active and content-rich programs for teachers in public, private and religious schools, K-12. The Institute awards Massachusetts PDPs, New Hampshire CEUs, non-degree graduate credits and a certificate for our Small Business Entrepreneurship course. Our programs are also open to Merrimack alumni, parents and friends, as well as senior citizens in our local communities of Andover and North Andover.

Known for its active learning pedagogy, Merrimack College provides the opportunity for teachers to engage in content-focused seminars on campus and in courses online that range from practical application to powerful inquiry. Programs offered at Merrimack College on our beautiful North Andover campus with convenient access and plenty of free parking.
This year we offer an array of seminars and online courses not only addressing learning standards, but also new perspectives on developing classroom environments and fascinating insights into Islam, Native American Culture and the lives of famous mathematicians.
