Juliet Ramirez is from the Bronx, NY. She attended Skidmore College and obtained a degree in Sociology with a minor in Inter Group Relations.
In her fellowship role at Middlesex Community College, Ramirez served as the Coordinator of the Multicultural Achievement Peer Program (MAPP) at Middlesex Community College. MAPP is a peer-mentoring program that is designed to help new students adjust to the campus climate, while fostering meaningful relationships with students at Middlesex Community College. She planned events, workshops, dialogues and team building activities while managing the program budget. She was responsible for matching up mentors and mentees for MAPP and monitored the growth of their relationship through the year.
After her graduation from Merrimack’s Higher Education program, Ramirez was hired by Middlesex Community College to be the TRIO Student Success Academic Advisor.
