Recent Research and Professional Experience

Gina Deschamps currently teaches Ethics as an Adjunct Professor. Professor Deschamps is in the final phase of her dissertation, a study on The Influence of Failure Upon the Success of Entrepreneurial Women. Her full-time work revolves around business development in her family’s 100-year old manufacturing firm.

Professor Deschamps has spent the vast majority of her career in the manufacturing sector in a variety of managerial roles. This experience has influenced her interest in the role that integrity and ethics plays not only in business, but also in day-to-day life. She recently presented a paper at the American Leadership Educator’s Conference.

Gina’s practical business experience has exposed her to a variety of industries and has helped to inform her ability to move across market segments. She has also served on several non-profit boards including AIGA, The Printing and Publishing Council of New England, Girls, Inc. of Lynn, Peabody Essex Museum Corporate Development Board, and the Salem Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
