Inviting nominations for the Goldziher Prize 2012
A $25,000.00 cash award made possible by the generosity of The William and Mary Greve Foundation for work that contributes significantly to reverence, understanding and collaboration in common moral purposes between Jews and Muslims. Those eligible for the award include writers, artists, playwrights, filmmakers, publishers, philanthropists, clergy, government officials, and civil society activists.
Named for the great 19th century Islamicist, Ignac Goldziher, the 2010 award (for scholarship) was presented to Mark R. Cohen of Princeton University.
Nominations, including self-nominations, accepted until October 1, 2011CE. The nomination process begins by downloading a nomination ballot below.

The deadline for nominations for the Goldziher Prize 2012 has passed. Nominations for the Goldziher Prize 2014 will be accepted beginning in May of 2013.
