Aldebran Longabaugh-Burg

Ms. Aldebran “Deb” Longabaugh-Burg is a magna cum laude graduate in art history from Boston College, and has varied, creative and successful work history in business, the arts, and higher education. Her commitment to interreligious understanding and education extends to her volunteer activities as Shabbat Service Chair and former Administrator of the religious school for Congregation Havurat Shalom in Andover, and parent volunteer for Holocaust studies at the North Reading Middle and High Schools.
Deb is also co-leader of the new Andover chapter of the Daughters of Abraham women’s interfaith book group, committed to building relationships and respect among the three Abrahamic religions. In the spring of 2011 Deb was invited to join the board of Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries; founded in 1966 it is the greater Boston area’s oldest interfaith social justice network. CMM administers the highly successful Interfaith Youth Initiative Summer Institute at Brandeis in July.
