Developed and currently teaching new course, RTS3760: “Theology and History of Jewish-Christian-Muslim Relations,” a required course for the new Minor in Jewish-Christian-Muslim Relations.
An active member of Boston’s Muslim community for over a decade, Salma served as the Associate Director of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center for over five years, and as a youth educator at the Islamic Center of Boston in Wayland, as well as a board member of Alhamra Academy, a Muslim day school in Shrewsbury, MA. Salma was a co-founder of the Center for Jewish-Muslim Relations, and has been a frequent speaker on the topic of Islam and Muslims throughout Greater Boston.
