Student Association of Sociology
Constituted in 1997, the Student Association of Sociology (SAS) has as its purpose to build a greater sense of community within the Department by establishing closer professional and personal relationships between faculty and students as well as among students who major and minor in sociology. The SAS organizes campus-wide events, supports students’ attendance at academic conferences, participates in community service projects, and sponsors social events.
