Dr. Fairfax's interests are community organizing, restorative justice, participatory democracy, and contingent work. His chapter appeared in Transforming Social Inquiry, Transforming Social Action: New Paradigms for Crossing the Theory/Practice Divide in Universities and Communities (Kluwer, 2000).
