Mona Eltahawy is a columnist for the Toronto Star (Canada), the Jerusalem Report (Israel), and Politiken (Denmark) and has won numerous journalism awards from organizations around the world. She has worked as a correspondent for Reuters in Cairo and Jerusalem and has reported from Egypt, Israel, Palestine, Libya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and China for various media outlets. Her opinion pieces have been published in The Washington Post and the International Herald Tribune and she has been a guest analyst on numerous network news programs, including CNN, ABC, CBS, PBS, and NPR.
