Stephen Small

Stephen Small

Class of 2008
Electrical Engineering Major

Stephen Small graduated from Merrimack College in 2008 with a major in electrical engineering and a minor in computer engineering. He came to Merrimack after graduating North Andover High School in North Andover, Mass. He chose Merrimack College because both of his parents graduated from Merrimack and he likes the location. He has always loved electrical engineering and computers since elementary school and always knew what field he wanted to go into. His favorite courses are Embedded Microcontrollers, Data Networking, and Signals and Systems. Since 2006, he has interned at Steve Meyers & Associates, where is has done software programming, .net, and SQL. His Merrimack education has helped him in this job because he learned how systems work, and therefore the order that they must be done to get the job done right. In addition, he also enjoys coaching track and field (high school students) and designing and building his own networking devices.  Stephen wants to be a design engineer in wireless communications products and systems. He loves hands on.
