Merrimack College provided the intensive curriculum and clinical experience that I needed to prepare me for graduate school and my future career in athletic training. Qualities that I acquired such as time management, responsibility, and diligence have given me the confidence to begin my career as an athletic trainer. The relationships that I formed with the sports medicine staff including athletic trainers, team physicians, and physical therapists gave me a diverse background in the field of sports medicine. The preparation I received at Merrimack College put me in the position that I am in now receiving my master's degree in exercise science at the University of Connecticut in conjunction with being a graduate assistant athletic trainer for UConn Athletics.
