Clinical Experience Plan

The Volpe Athletic Training Facility serves as the primary clinical setting, in which, according to the Clinical Experience Plan, Athletic Training Students (ATS) will progress throughout their clinical experience. All students will be directly assigned to an Approved Clinical Instructor who is responsible for directing and supervising the student's clinical experience.

Athletic Training Students will have opportunities to gain clinical experiences associated with a variety of different populations, including: 

  • Gender Specific 
  • Varying Levels of Risk
  • Protective Equipment 
  • Medical Experiences Addressing the Continuum of Care
