Kevin Melanson (a graduate of Merrimack) currently serves as a Clinical Instructor in Health Sciences. His primarily teaching responsibilities include the Clinical Experience courses in the Athletic Training Education Program. Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Merrimack and his Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania. He is nationally certified as an Athletic Trainer, licensed to practice athletic training in Massachusetts, and is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Kevin serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in the college’s Athletics Department where he assists in providing health care for the Merrimack College varsity athletes and supervising Athletic Training Students during their clinical rotations.
Kevin enjoys the ability to get involved with students, faculty and staff in ways that are unique to Merrimack experience. Currently, he participates in the Sustainability Initiative, Young Alumni Committee, MerrimAction Service Day and the developing partnership with Project Medishare in Haiti.
