Lindsey supports the Chair in the organization and management of the academic, personnel, assessment, and financial functions of the undergraduate and future graduate programs. She also contributes to the efficient administrative operations of the Department, with a focus on coordination of the academic advising system; coordination of the new human performance and anatomy laboratories; and organization of academic class scheduling. Lindsey also oversees the Department’s public relations strategies, website, social media, and its online and printed marketing materials.
Lindsey’s degree in Exercise and Health Science has led her to work in such careers as: Health Promotion and Wellness, Research, Fitness, and Group Exercise, in many diverse settings.
Lindsey also has a specific interest in reversing the pediatric obesity epidemic and is currently working as Project Coordinator of the Active Science Research project, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, alongside Drs. McInnis, Finn, and Yan of the Health Sciences Department.
