Andrea Cohen is the director of the Writers House. Her poems and stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, The Atlantic Monthly, The Threepenny Review, Glimmer Train, The Hudson Review, The New Republic, and elsewhere. Her poetry collections include Furs Not Mine, Kentucky Derby, Long Division, and The Cartographer’s Vacation. She received her M.F.A. from the University of Iowa, where she was a Teaching-Writing Fellow. Andrea teaches creative writing in Merrimack’s English Department and directs the Blacksmith House Poetry Series in Cambridge, MA.
Danielle Jones-Pruett is assistant director of the Writers House. She holds an M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her poems have appeared in Best New Poets 2014, Beloit Poetry Journal, Cider Press Review, Southern Poetry Review, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a 2014 Rona Jaffe Foundation Writer’s Award, and a 2015 St. Botolph Club Foundation Emerging Artist Award.
