Andrea Cohen is director of the Writers House. Her poems and stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, The Atlantic, The Threepenny Review, Glimmer Train, The Hudson Review, The New Republic and elsewhere. Her poetry collections include Unfathoming, Furs Not Mine, Kentucky Derby, Long Division and The Cartographer’s Vacation. Cohen received a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa, where she was a teaching-writing fellow. She teaches creative writing in Merrimack’s English department and directs the Blacksmith House Poetry Series, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Danielle Jones-Pruett is assistant director of the Writers House. She holds Master of Fine Arts in poetry from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Her poems have appeared in Best New Poets, Beloit Poetry Journal, Cider Press Review, Memorious, Southern Poetry Review and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a 2014 Rona Jaffe Foundation Writer’s Award and a 2015 St. Botolph Club Foundation Emerging Artist Award.
