Transfer Student Info Sessions

Campus Visits and Tours

Merrimack welcomes the opportunity to meet students on campus and invites you to schedule a visit during your college search. The following appointments should be scheduled before arriving on campus.

  • Individual interviews with an admission staff member,
  • Information Sessions,
  • Campus Tours with a President's Ambassador tour guide.

Please call 978-837-5100 to schedule your visit, and let our scheduling secretary know if you are a freshman or transfer candidate when scheduling your visit.

Open Houses

During our Open Houses, members of the college community will discuss academic programs, student life, admissions policies and procedures, internship and cooperative education opportunities, athletics, resident life, financial aid, and scholarships. Following the Open House, there will be a tour of the campus led by Merrimack students that highlights different residence halls, academic buildings, the Gladys Sakowich Student Center, the McQuade Library, the Rogers Center for the Arts and the Volpe Athletic complex. While on the tour you and your family can talk with students who will answer your questions and provide a student's perspective of Merrimack.

Transfer Student Information Sessions

The Admission Office hosts Information Sessions for prospective transfer students at various times throughout the year. You will learn more about the advantages of transferring to Merrimack College; information about the transfer admission process, financial aid and transfer scholarship opportunities, and academic programs. Following the Information Session, there will be a tour of the campus led by Merrimack students.

Transfer Student Visits

In addition to our scheduled Transfer Student Information Sessions, prospective transfer students are welcome to meet with the Director of Transfer Admission, John McLaughlin. Personal appointments are encouraged!
