Freshmen Next Steps
Congrats on your acceptance! The next four (and we think the best!) years of your life are right around the corner.
We are excited that in just a few short months you may be joining the Merrimack community as a member of the Class of 2017! We know that choosing what college to attend is a huge decision. Here are some next steps to help you along the process.
Step 1: Join the Class of 2017 facebook group
This is a great way to meet other accepted students and help you make your decision. Chat, post pictures, ask questions, and have fun. Join in today!
Step 2: Come for a visit!
It’s the perfect time to come to campus and help make your final decision. Visit the full schedule of opportunities, including one-on-one with an admissions counselor, our spring concert, lunch with an ambassador, here.
Step 3: Deposit
In your acceptance letter, we included a deposit card and envelope for you to secure your spot in the class. Your $500 deposit accepts the offer of admission to Merrimack College and is credited towards your 2013-2014 bill. The deadline for submitting your deposit is May 1, 2013 and is non-refundable after that date.
- Include a $500 check, payable to Merrimack College, in the return envelope with the deposit form.
- If you prefer to make a payment online, visit https://merrimack.afford.com. Under “Make a Payment” choose “Merrimack College - Deposits Only” and follow the instructions. Acceptable methods of payment include Mastercard, American Express, Discover and e-check. There is a small fee to utilize this site.
Step 4: It’s Official!
After depositing, you’ll register for orientation, fill out your housing forms, and much more. Stay tuned!
