Education: B.S. in Psychology, Suffolk University; M.Ed. in Higher Education Student Affairs, Merrimack College
Territory: I cover schools in New York and Massachusetts (specifically the greater Boston area and Western, MA)
Hometown: Haverhill, MA
Favorite place on campus:
It’s a toss up between the fireplace lounge in the student center and zest in the library!
Fond memory or experience you have from your undergraduate years:
Taking lunch trays and sledding down the hills in the winter. Brunch sundays are also a close contender.
Tips for high school seniors:
Keep in touch with your admissions counselor. We love to hear from you and we can actually be pretty cool too!
Last great book you read:
Right now? Perks of Being a Wallflower. I’m in two book clubs though, so I’m sure I’ll have a new favorite next week!
Where would you like to travel:
I travel a lot, but I have yet to go to Africa - specifically Morocco and Egypt! I am a history buff and would just love to see the sights and experience some true African cuisine!
One thing about you that may surprise your colleagues:
I was a competitive Latin Ballroom dancer until about a year and a half ago. I was fortunate enough to train with Karina Smirnoff and Maxim Chmerkovskiy from Dancing with the Stars!
One great discovery you’ve made on Merrimack’s campus:
The cupcake truck! It comes every week and I was lucky enough to get to ride in it on my birthday!
What makes Merrimack the place to be:
Our community. We truly are a family at Merrimack and everyone feels like they belong and have their niche.
