Alumni Advisory Councils
Alumni Advisory Councils assist the Office of Alumni Relations by serving as sounding boards for how to re-engage Merrimack alumni to the college. If you are looking for a way to volunteer and stay involved with Merrimack, the below groups are a great way to stay connected!
Augustinian Mission Advisory Council serves as an important group of alumni who guarantees that the Augustinian mission of Merrimack College is alive and present in alumni programming. This group assists in community service programming including a spring and a fall service component while also assisting the alumni office in general service opportunities throughout the year. Alumni Resources Advisory Council works to provide alumni and students a resource in their field of endeavor that fosters career growth opportunities. The Career Networking Committee develops programs to facilitate career development, provides resources and tools necessary to strengthen alumni and current Merrimack students marketability by sharpening their networking skills and individual career goals. Business Advisory Council works to engage alumni in the life of the College as well as support and create opportunities for peer networking. Members develop goals that will foster engagement, enable alumni to network more effectively, and outline how we can better serve Girard School of Business alumni. Young Alumni Advisory Council serves as a sounding board and “go-to” group for young alumni ideas and events. The mission of the Young Alumni Advisory Council is to strengthen the young alumni community by offering events and programs that establish a mutually beneficial lifelong relationship with Merrimack College Alumni. The term “young alumni” encompasses all alumni of Merrimack who have graduated within the last ten years. At Merrimack, approximately 5,347 or 25% of our alumni fit into the young alumni category.
