Career Resources
Merrimack recognizes the importance to not only maintain but enhance your professional network and skills in today’s competitive economy.
In order to support you throughout your professional life, there are a number of career and lifelong learning resources available to you:
LinkedIn to Your Alumni Network
LinkedIn serves as the primary vehicle for Merrimack College alumni to network online and search for professional connections.
The Merrimack College Alumni Group currently enjoys over 3,000 members, offering a valuable resource for alumni to search for jobs, connect with professionals, discuss issues, learn about industry trends, and much more.
Pressed for Success
This job search group, founded by a Merrimack alumna, provides a weekly forum for alumni and friends to get together, network and offer support.
Pressed for Success holds regular seminars pertinent to individuals currently unemployed and/or looking for a new job.
Mentoring Program
This peer networking Mentoring Program is designed to provide rich and meaningful opportunities for students to benefit from an alum’s professional experience.
Students and alumni are carefully paired at the beginning of each academic year and then connect through in-person meetings, phone calls, email and skype throughout the fall and spring semesters. For more information, please contact the O’Brien Center for Student Success at 978-837-5480.
O’Brien Center for Student Success
The O’Brien Center for Student Success is available to work with alumni whether you are just starting your career, assessing your current situation, or if you are interested in assisting Merrimack students with their career plans.
