Friends of Merrimack

 

Thank you for your interest in “The Friends of Merrimack College”.  For the last 60 years, the “Friends” have made an extraordinary impact on the college and the lives of many students who have benefited from a “Friends of Merrimack” scholarship.  We are grateful for the commitment and enthusiastic dedication to Merrimack College and our students, for whom the “Friends” serve as a role model and inspiration. 

Merrimack College combines high academic and ethical standards, residential quality, and a commitment to community service, to offer a rare and rewarding undergraduate experience to last a lifetime. The ultimate goal of a Merrimack education is to empower individuals to make a positive difference in the world.  It is my sincere hope that our students leave Merrimack with the same spirit of giving back to their community and to others as the members of the Friends of Merrimack College has demonstrated. 

Since its inception, The Friends of Merrimack College has provided significant annual scholarship support to deserving Merrimack Students.  Last year alone, we provided more than $200,000 in scholarship support touching the lives of nearly 100 students.

Currently, over 80% of our current students receive some type of financial assistance and your participation will directly impact the lives of these students in making the dream of a college education come true.

As a Friend of Merrimack College you will become a member of the campus community and receive invitations to special member events including cultural events in the Rogers Center for the Performing Arts, President’s Cup Golf Tournament, the Alumni & Friends Christmas Reception, as well as athletic events and educational programs.

“Friend” is the most important part of the name, “Friends of Merrimack College”.  We welcome you as a “friend” – know that your generosity, energy, and goodwill will have a significant impact on many young men and women who may not have been able to attend Merrimack College.  Without friends such as you, we would not be the same.
