Welcome!

One of the most important things college can do for you is help you find a career path that is exciting, rewarding, inspiring, or all of the above. At Merrimack College, we make this easier than usual—through personal planning services, real life work experience, and professional job search assistance.

Finding Your Career Path

Our Career Services staff offer a wealth of resources, including career fairs and panels, job search workshops, on-campus interviews, and extensive one-on-one counseling to help you identify your interests, explore your options, and pursue your employment or graduate study goals. More than 92 percent of Merrimack College graduates find full-time employment within six months of graduating, and more than six percent are immediately accepted into graduate school programs.

Cooperative Education/Internships

A key element of what we offer is the chance to work in the real world while still attending classes. Our Cooperative Education program, established in 1972, is one of the finest in the country. Merrimack’s co-op students experience the working world first hand through paid positions in the fields that interest them, including business, nonprofit, healthcare, government, and education. You can also gain work experience through the many internship and community service opportunities we have developed.

As you discover your own strengths and interests at Merrimack, let us help you also discover the various career options that could lead to even greater satisfaction and success after you graduate.
