Professional Experience

Luis is the Graduate Resident Director of Deegan Hall and Ash Centre, which primarily house first year students. His primary responsibilities include helping lead the hall team, creating a safe and inclusive community, and connecting with the residential life population. Luis strongly believes that the majority of learning happens outside of the classroom, and hopes to create a thriving community for every student to grow. In his spare time Luis likes to hike, watch the Office, and be with family.

Prior to working at Merrimack College, Luis did a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps working as the Director of Ministry and as a teacher in a small private school in San Diego. Luis received his Bachelors in History and Political Science from Seattle University. As a student at Seattle

University Luis worked as a resident assistant and retreat leader for three years.
