The Merrimack Society
A leadership gift to Merrimack College helps to honor our Augustinian tradition of scholarship, service and social justice. Your generosity allows us to match our ambitions with goals, and our goals with resources, as we seek true distinction by transforming the college.
Donors who give annual contributions totaling $1,000 or more, helping to fund critical projects and programs, are recognized as part of The Merrimack Society in the following ways:

The Wenzel Society
Donors who have given for three or more consecutive years will be recognized with an annual commemorative gift, with additional recognition for donors who give for 10–24 consecutive years and 25 or more consecutive years.
The Wenzel Society, named in honor of Father Jim Wenzel, O.S.A., ’52, recognizes Merrimack College’s most loyal donors. Alumni and friends who make a gift to the College for three or more consecutive years are creating a lasting impact on our community — much like the legacy Father Jim has created during his more than 60 years as a beloved member of our College community.
The 1947 Society
The 1947 Society, honoring Merrimack’s founding year, was established to recognize Merrimack alumni, parents and friends who demonstrate their generosity and commitment to the College through a planned gift.Â
