Leadership Education and Development Committee (L.E.A.D.)
The Leadership Education and Development Committee is dedicated to providing and enriching leadership opportunities for students at Merrimack College. The L.E.A.D. program is a comprehensive curriculum which exposes students to a broad range of leadership topics and experiences. The hope is that these skills will form a foundation upon which students can build good citizenship in their lives beyond Merrimack.
L.E.A.D. offers a variety of programs to help students develop their leadership potential. The program is based on three levels of competency. Programs are designed for first-year students who are interested in getting involved, emerging leaders who have become involved in leadership and plan to continue, and advanced leaders who have had substantial experience in student leadership positions. Some of the programs include: Student Leadership Retreat Weekends, Alumni Networking Dinner, Leadership Seminars, and the Annual Recognition Dinner.
