Academic Technology - Merrimack College

Welcome to Academic Technology. Our mission is to provide support to faculty and staff in promoting best practices in teaching and learning with technology. Our goal is to develop programs and lead learning technology initiatives to improve the level of technology use and competence in the learning endeavor.

The Academic Technology staff provides training and support for the Technology Enhanced Classrooms, instructional technologies and the Optional Student Laptop Program. The Academic Technology Team is located in the User Services Area, on the 2nd floor of the McQuade Library.

Debra Michals

Debra Michals - Women’s and Gender Studies
Adjunct Professor Debra Michals began teaching at Merrimack in Fall 2003. She has served as a visiting professor and interim director of the program in Women’s and Gender studies here, and has assisted the chair in arranging guest speakers and other events. She has also taught at New York University, where she served as acting associate director of Women’s Studies. Debra is currently working on a book focusing on female breadwinners.
